About Dr. Janine Jones:
Dr. Jones is a Licensed Psychologist, a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and has the Washington State ESA certificate in School Psychology. Dr. Jones specialty is working with children and families and she is recognized as an African American Mental Health Specialist in Washington State. Dr. Jones earned a doctoral degree in School Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from the University of Southern California. Dr. Jones is a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists. Dr. Jones has been supporting the mental health of children and families since 1992 in a variety of settings. These settings have included school districts, community mental health centers, school based mental health clinics, private practice, and university settings. Her experience includes providing psychological assessment services, individual and family therapy, consultation, and crisis services. She also trains masters and doctoral level students in the practice of school psychology. |
About Dr. Jamila Brown:
Dr. Brown is a Licensed Psychologist and certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Coach. She has worked with a variety of children, adolescents and adults in outpatient and inpatient settings. She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and other emotional challenges. She has extensive training in child/adolescent development, assessment and therapy. Dr Brown also has an interest in working with clients form diverse backgrounds, particularly those affected by the foster care system. Dr. Brown earned her PsyD (Doctorate in Psychology) from Nova Southestern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She completed her predoctoral internship at mercyFirst, a residential treatment center in Syosset, NY. she completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center at Odessa Brown Children's Clinic in Seattle, WA. About Dr. Trista Huckleberry: Dr. Huckleberry is a Licensed Psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Through a wide variety of training and experience, Dr. Huckleberry is qualified to provide psychological counseling and assessment. Dr. Huckleberry's interests include adolescents, adults and families in life transitions, including general adjustment, divorce and separation. She also specializes in adolescent and young adult issues, such as educational issues, behavioral concerns and identity development. Dr. Huckleberry's approach is based on personal empowerment through improved mental balance and decision-making. Dr. Huckleberry earned a M.Ed in Behavioral Studies from Southern University and a Ph.D in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Her professional experiences includes positions in school psychology, psychological assessment, university teaching, and consultation. She continues to provide direct psychological services and conduct research in the areas of adolescent development. Dr. Huckleberry has presented at numerous conferences in the areas of psychology, adolescent development and popular culture. About Anisa Hukic, PsyD:
Dr. Anisa Hukic is a licensed mental health therapist and a current member of the American Psychological Association and Washington State Psychological Association. She specializes in individual therapy, as well as in providing psychological and psychoeducational assessments. Dr. Hukic has extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults who present with a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns. Among her areas of expertise are the treatment of anxiety, trauma, depression, eating disorders, poor body image, life transitions, and grief and loss. Dr. Hukic is also a trained EMDR provider. EMDR has been proven effective in treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other emotional conditions. Dr. Hukic earned her doctorate degree from Washington School of Professional Psychology in Clinical Psychology. She completed her doctoral internship at Fremont Community Therapy Project, and her post-doctoral residency at Ryther Child Center. About Mathilda Dunn, MA, LMHC:
Mathilda Dunn earned her Master's Degree in Child, Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Seattle. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington, as well as a Child Mental Health Specialist. Mathilda has been providing therapy for children, adolescents and their families since 2005. Mathilda has extensive training and experience in working with children and adolescents who experience depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, social skills challenges, and difficulty managing mood and behavior. Mathilda specializes in treating children and adolescents who have experienced traumatic events, including physical and sexual abuse, neglect, and witness of violence. Mathilda has extensive familiarity with non-traditional families, including foster and adoptive families, blended families, single parent families, and families where extended family members are raising children. Trained Family Systems Theory, Mathilda always considers the client's many environments and relationships, including family, friends, work, school and community. It is her belief that children need the support of the family in order to make positive and lasting changes. In addition to her clinical work, Mathilda has vast experience in working with social services, including the foster care system, homeless populations, and families impacted by domestic violence. |
